NHS Go LogoNHS Go - New Health App for Young People

NHS Go is the new way to get 24/7 instant access to information that can help you take control of your health.

The App is anonymous, confidential and can be downloaded for iOS and Android or you can take a look online:

Named GP...

All our patients are given a Named GP to help with your care, if you are not sure who your named GP is then please dont hesitate to ask at reception.

However this does not mean that you can only be seen by your named GP, we would like to reassure you that you can still be seen by any member of the practice clinical team of your choice. We are aware that seeing 1 Dr is not always possible or practical. All clinical staff within the practice can access your medical records so continued care can still be administered.

PARACETAMOL CAMPAIGN...

From the beginning of June, the CCG are running a campaign to raise public awareness of the £1M we spend on prescribed paracetamol each year. We do not think this is the best use of the NHS resources and we are keen to gather public momentum to reduce this.

Have you tried our virtual doctor?

Dr Matthew Piccaver may be able to answer some of your questions about coughs, colds, sore throats and the flu. That way, you can manage your symptoms more effectively and can understand when you should book an appointment with your GP.

It is available on your mobile, on your tablet or on your PC so wherever you are when you have a question, that question can be answered.

Ask Dr Matt a question via the website VirtTuri; you'll be surprised by just how much he knows.

Friends and Family

The Friends and Family Test is a way of gathering your feedback, so we can continually review our service.

It is one simple question:

"How likely are you to recommend our GP practice to friends and family if they needed similar care or treatment?"

Your feedback will help us learn more about what you think of your experience - what you like and what you think we could improve. Ultimately, you're helping us to make changes that will ensure we can offer the best possible care.

It is completely anonymous. Please collect a form from your Doctor or Reception.

Please see the following video for more information.

Provider ImageTEL: 07914494108

ABOUT US: Wickham Market Good Neighbours can help you get back on your feet after a stay in hospital. We’re able to undertake those practical jobs which carers often don’t have the time to do.

We could help with tasks like shopping, meal preparation, clearing up , anything non-medical, to make life a little more comfortable for you. It would be very helpful if you could let us know as soon as possible when you’re likely to need this service, and we can send one of our volunteers to visit you at home to assess your needs.
